• 1. Agreement to Terms

  By accessing or using the Site (https://www.beaconlaserworks.com) and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

  2. Orders & Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason (including but not limited to: product availability, errors in pricing/description, or fraud concerns).

  • After placing an order you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we send you a separate email confirming that your order has shipped (or is ready), or when we fulfil the order as otherwise agreed.

  3. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices shown on the Site are quoted in U.S. Dollars, unless otherwise noted, and are valid only for the stated duration. We reserve the right to modify prices or discontinue products at any time without notice.

  • Payment must be made by an approved payment method at checkout (via third-party processor).

  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or shipping fees unless otherwise stated.

  4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

  • We will dispatch products to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

  • Risk of loss and title for items you purchase pass to you when we deliver the items to the carrier.

  • Delivery dates are estimates only — we do not guarantee delivery by a specific date unless explicitly agreed.

  5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

  • Since many of our products are custom-engraved or made-to-order (laser cutting and engraving services), please review your specifications carefully before placing your order.

  • If a non-custom item is eligible for return, you must contact us within [insert number] days of receipt for instructions. The item must be unused, in original packaging, and you may be responsible for return shipping. Shipping costs paid are non-refundable (unless we made error).

  • Custom/engraved items are generally not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive defective or damaged. In such a case, please contact us for photographic evidence and we’ll determine whether repair, replacement or refund is appropriate.

  • Cancellations must be requested before production begins. Once engraving or cutting is underway, cancellation may not be possible.

  6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this Site (text, graphics, logos, images, design, etc.) is the property of Beacon Laserworks or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute or exploit any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

  7. User-Supplied Materials

  • If you provide artwork, photos or other files for customization, you represent that you own or have permission to use such materials (including all copyrights and trademarks). You grant us a non-exclusive license to use those materials to fulfil your order.

  • We reserve the right to refuse materials which we believe infringe others’ rights or are unlawful, offensive or inappropriate.

  8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon Laserworks and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or purchase of products.

  • Our total aggregate liability to you for claims arising from or relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product(s) ordered.

  9. Indemnification

  You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Beacon Laserworks and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your negligent or wrongful conduct, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

  10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina (USA), without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in [insert county, NC] for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.
